Two shirts for a dress

Remember that I have already told you before, I have a stock of used shirts that does not decrease over time and that keeps pushing me to look for ideas to recycle them.

This time around, I continued the last year’s idea of combining a plain shirt with a striped shirt, but in a different form.

I kept only the back and the two front panels, which put head down and crossed, turn into a neckline. I decided to wear the stripes on the front, so I extended the back over the shoulders. On the sides, the fabric being short, I added a portion of the old cuffs to tighten the waist with the cuff links, an idea that I had already exploited on another recycled shirt.

It is a dress that can happily go on vacation, fits to many occasions and especially to old Provencal stones.
