I find man shirts on women very sexy, providing they are not paired with a traditional suit. Plain, printed, in silk or cotton, they are timeless chic, smart and men repelling. When they are made to measure, we tend to keep them forever. However, I wanted a shirt dress looking more like a dress than a shirt.
After intensive brainstorming sessions with myself, I decided to opt for a straight dress and a long shirt that I can put together or separately.
And because you’re dying to see the pictures, here are some headless ones
The fabric is extremely thin so I made a lining for the entire dress. It also crumples very easily and therefore needs frequent ironing. This dress was also a good testing ground for the shirt collar. The pattern is so simple that I crave to share it with you in the next post.
